The Strom organization has two divisions:

Strom German Auto Service and Strom Motorsports

We service and race the BMW, Audi and Porsche brands. As a company we are rapidly growing and trying to incorporate new technologies, processes and ideas into our work. With our involvement in Motorsports we have access to unique factory information and resources that you will be able to take advantage of. We have a lot of fun at work and take pride in what we do. Strom German Auto Service Job Openings:

Automotive Service Technician

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Audi/VW, Porsche and BMW vehicles

  • Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine required or recommended repairs

  • Complete factory-recommended maintenance according to manufacturer schedules

  • Understand and be able to use Autologic, ODIS Service Software and ErWIN Portal

  • Maintain documentation about work performed on each vehicle

  • Knowledge of all tools and equipment required to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and service vehicles

  • Attend pertinent training at company request

Other Responsibilities

  • Work with Service Writer to manage shop workflow and to optimize quality of service from beginning to end for customers.

  • Ensure that the shop area is clean, organized and safe.

  • Assist in making sure we have the right tools to perform new services as new model years come into the shop.

  • Attend pertinent training at company request

Qualifications and Skills

  • Attention to detail, deadline oriented

  • Knowledge of all tools and equipment required to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and service vehicles

  • Critical thinking ability - look at a task or problem and come up with a logical path to solving it

  • Maintain a clean and efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Maintain a professional personal appearance

  • A desire to work hard and constantly improve

  • High School Diploma

  • 3+ years of dealership automotive technician experience

  • Complete set of automotive tools

  • Valid Driver's license

  • Willing to undergo a background check
